Dyno Sessions
Three to four runs on a Dynojet 224xLC, with the run sheet to prove what the car actually makes.
What a session includes for Dyno SessionsCalibration
Custom ECU tuning means the calibration is built around your combination (your injectors, your turbo, your fuel, your climate) and validated with the car in front of us. It is $250 an hour, and dyno time is inside that rate rather than billed on top of it.

House specialty
Every shop has a platform it knows in its hands rather than out of a manual. Here it is the GM small block: LS and LT, naturally aspirated, cammed, blown and turbocharged.
That shows up as speed and as judgement. We know what a healthy one logs, which knock counts are real and which are the sensor hearing the valvetrain, and how much timing a given combination will still take on a 100°F afternoon.
Writing to a modern ECU needs a license for that specific vehicle. HP Tuners sells those licenses as credits, and they are a separate cost from the tuning labour. We do not mark them up into an hourly rate where you cannot see them.
Credits start at $50 each, and the number a car needs depends on the vehicle: typically anywhere from 2 to 20. We will tell you the count for your car before any work starts, so the total is not a surprise at the end.
A canned tune is an average. It is written for a healthy, stock-ish example of your platform running the fuel the author had, in the weather the author had. If your car matches that, it will feel good.
If it does not (a tired fuel pump, a different intake, 87 octane in August, an intercooler that heat-soaks in traffic) the file has no way to know. It will keep commanding the same timing into an engine that can no longer take it.
We leave headroom deliberately. A calibration tuned to the absolute edge on a 72°F morning is a calibration that detonates on a 100°F afternoon. The last few horsepower are the most expensive ones you will ever buy.
